September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month and one of the best ways to support those living with sickle cell disease is to donate blood. Many sickle cell patients rely on blood transfusions and having blood available is key. Join us on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 9:30 a.m-1:30 p.m. at Oscar J Dunn Masonic Lodge, 1100 Cook Street, Gretna, LA 70053. Look for the Bloodmobile. Click here to sign up. Please answer the 46 Medical/Travel questions only on the morning of the blood drive to save time once you arrive. Then press print to save to our system.
Donors will have a choice of the new “Exclusive Hubig’s Pies “Lifesaver” T-shirt, Family Blood Coverage, Blood Replacement and Heart Club.
